Five55 is a beachside luxury apartment community located in the heart of Santa Cruz. The development consists of two buildings connected by an enclosed breezeway, each featuring a mix of residential and commercial space. Together, the buildings house 94 units, 119 parking spaces, and 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. Amenities include a rooftop lounge, private courtyard, and fitness center.
Both buildings are constructed with a three-story wood structure (Type V-A Construction) over a two-story concrete podium (Type I-A Construction). The lateral force-resisting system consists of concrete shear walls in the podium levels and wood shear walls in the upper levels. Construction was completed in 2018.
