Why did you choose structural engineering?

The impact Structural Engineers can have on the safety of the build environment is important to me, having experienced first-hand what can come from natural disasters. It’s a constant pursuit to balance safety with economical practicality. I also enjoy seeing thing get built and being able to get into the details of constructability.
