Professional Experience
Mr. Ahmed is a Structural Engineer-in-Training holding a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering (with a focus on structural dynamics), with around three years of experience in structural design. His background includes the analysis and design of reinforced concrete, precast concrete, and steel systems across commercial and residential developments in the Middle East. He also possesses hands-on experience in temporary works design and has been involved in integrated geotechnical-structural engineering projects.
The high level of responsibility, diversity, and complexity of structural engineering, among other niches, has caught my attention at the very beginning of my journey in the civil engineering undergraduate program.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
The more you read, the more you know, the more you realize you don’t know. So, just keep developing yourself.
What are some of your favorite hobbies?
Hiking, fishing, and gathering with friends.
