Professional Experience 

Mr. Maarten has 25 years of experience across a wide range of new construction and retrofit projects, including mixed-use developments, multifamily and single-family residential, schools, retail, commercial and office buildings, tenant improvements, and data centers. His projects span a variety of construction types, including wood, steel, concrete, masonry, and light-gauge steel. Leveraging this experience, Mr. Maarten collaborates closely with design teams and subcontractors and works effectively with contractors to resolve field conditions and address construction-related questions efficiently.

What are some of your favorite hobbies?

I enjoy traveling – especially international trips that focus on experiencing local culture – taking scenic photos, and spending time with my dog on adventures and activities.

What are your favorite travel destinations?

Japan, Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland, as well as spending time with relatives in Sweden. I’ve also enjoyed multi-day river rafting trips in Idaho.
