We’re proud to announce that our international team has published a peer-reviewed article in MDPI Buildings, titled “Assessment and Rehabilitation of Culturally Protected Prince Rudolf Infantry Barracks in Zagreb after Major Earthquake.” The study is now publicly and freely available on the journal website.
Authored by Ivan Matoric, PASE EU Director, alongside his collaborators, the article explores the seismic assessment and rehabilitation of a culturally protected 19th-century masonry barracks building in Zagreb following a major earthquake. This research provides a detailed methodology for evaluating structural damage in heritage buildings and proposes tailored strengthening techniques under Croatia’s updated seismic retrofit regulations.
