Professional Experience

Rick is a BIM Technical Manager with over 18 years of design documentation experience and expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360, and Navisworks. For the past 13 years, he has led and advanced PASE’s BIM and Revit initiatives, focusing on intelligent modeling and data efficiency. Educated in Design Drafting Technology and Revit Architecture in San Jose, he values accuracy, collaboration, and innovation in every project. His experience across firms of all sizes has honed his ability to develop adaptable workflows that meet diverse project needs.

Why did you choose BIM technology?

I had full intentions on pursuing a career in architecture but fell in love with the technology aspect of it all. I spent the next years of my career working in structural and have had the opportunity to focus my efforts there. I’ve been able to accomplish a lot here at PASE and look forward to future innovations.

What are your favorite hobbies?

If I am not in the stands watching my daughter play competitive soccer, you can catch me at the disc golf course!

Best piece of advice?

Don’t stop learning, be curious and ask questions. Technology is ever-evolving.
