SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA – May 19, 2025 — For the third year running, PASE proudly sponsored the Girls on the Run Silicon Valley (GOTRSV) 5K, continuing its commitment to empowering youth, supporting the local community, and sharing the spirit of structural engineering with the next generation.
As hundreds of energetic runners gathered at the starting line, PASE team members were there to cheer them on, host the booth, and hand out custom race-day swag. With bright smiles and open hearts, PASE engineers and staff welcomed runners, shared stories, and offered encouragement to every participant.
During the opening ceremony, Nino Enriquez, one of PASE’s project engineers, took the stage with a message:
“When you run, remember to breathe and soak in the energy of the crowd and fellow runners. Push yourself because when you accomplish great things, you’ll remember it for the rest of your life!”
That message echoed the mission of GOTRSV, which empowers young girls through running and confidence-building programming. For PASE, the event is more than just a race, it’s a way to connect with the community, introduce youth to the world of engineering, and be a positive presence in a moment of growth and joy for so many families.
“Seeing kids cross the finish line beaming with pride, high-fiving our team, or asking about what engineers do… It’s what fills our hearts,” said Bishal Nayak at the PASE booth. “They looked so excited to run. I can’t wait to see their enjoyment again next year.”
PASE looks forward to many more years supporting GOTRSV, and continuing to build not just structures, but stronger communities.
