This project involved the widening of Union City Boulevard in Union City. The existing culvert consisted of a 5 foot tall by 10 foot wide rectangular single cell concrete box, and an adjacent 5 foot diameter concrete pipe. The widening of the road required both the box culvert and the pipe culvert to be lengthened by a distance of approximately 17 feet. The extended culverts discharge at a new headwall with a short apron and a pair of warped wingwalls.
