Structural Design of Outfall Structure & Headwalls

The Dixon Pond Outfall Structure regulates flow of flood waters from the City of Dixon's "Pond A". The outfall structure is composed of a 9'-0" x 19'-0" x 12'-0" tall twin camber box , with electric sluice gates, trash rack, adjacent entry wingwalls and 24 ft. long apron. The box is connected to two 60" diameter reinforced concrete pipes which extend beneath an access road to a drainage channel headwall with attached concrete apron and wingwalls.

The project also included the design of several other channel headwall and wingwall structures.
