The standby Generator Plant facility includes a 7,000 square foot building housing various electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, load banks, and four standby diesel generators. The plant supplies emergency power to the entire 25 acre site through an underground distribution system via four substations.

Peoples Associates provided the Structural Design for substantial modifications to three existing substations and the Structural Design of the new fourth substation. In addition, Peoples Associates provided the Structural Design for the new gererator building structure which consists of a metal roof over steel framing, concrete masonry walls, and a concrete slab on grade. A system of trenches was incorporated into the floor to facilitate both piping and containment.
