The Main Street Bridge is a 171 foot long by 70 foot wide three span bridge. The structure consists of a composite steel girder/concrete deck. The bent substructures were concrete piers and the concrete abutments were seat type. The channel has a 6-in. thick concrete channel scour and slope protection.

The design included the addition of cable restainers, catcher blocks and transverse shear keys.
